Now in an even bigger size, our DuoClean floorhead features two unique motorised brush-rolls, letting you clean across carpets and hard floors without stopping or changing heads.
How does DuoClean work? A soft, velvet-like brush-roll replaces the floorhead’s front wall, making direct contact with floors. Rather than pushing dirt away, it actively draws in large and small debris and removes fine, stuck-on dust from hard floors. The second bristle bar gets deep into the carpet pile to draw out embedded dirt.
Struggling to vacuum stairs? Powered Lift-Away sets you free. Simply detach the main unit from the wand at the press of a button, turning your upright into a portable vacuum cleaner which comfortably cleans stairs, sofas, curtains and easily reaches under furniture without heavy lifting.

First, remove the cord from the cord clip, then press the wand release button located near the top of the canister behind the wand. Gently pull up on the handle to remove the wand. Add the desired accessory to the end of the wand and begin cleaning. To replace, simply guide the wand behind the canister and press down until you hear a click.

Good replacement
I bought this as my dyson cordless had given up and I must say I am very pleased. Although I prefer my cordless I refuse to pay the price for a new one
The shark is slightly heavier but easy enough to use throughout the house and ideal to use on the stairs
The switches and release buttons are easily found and used also the different suction modes are a bonus
